Use these endpoints when you want cross-post or actor discovery rather than a single page fetch.
  • /v1/public/scrape/social/mentions searches for posts mentioning a brand term or handle
  • /v1/public/scrape/social/engagement returns engagement counts plus actor pages for a known post
  • /v1/public/scrape/hackernews/search searches Hacker News items
Cursor-based results are returned inside the endpoint-specific result payload when paging is available.

Direct platform fetches

Use the platform-specific endpoints when you already know the post URL, item ID, or profile handle:
  • reddit: post, profile
  • x: post, profile
  • linkedin: post, profile
  • hacker news: post
These endpoints are useful when an agent has already identified the precise target and wants normalized extraction rather than discovery.

Owned channels and feeds

  • /v1/public/scrape/channel crawls a brand-owned channel feed such as YouTube or Reddit
  • /v1/public/scrape/rss fetches and normalizes RSS or Atom feeds
Use channel for official content streams and rss when the publisher already exposes a feed document.
