Quickstart - Scrapebento Docs

Use the hosted API at https://api.scrapebento.com or your own deployed public-api base URL. All examples below use a workspace API token in the Authorization: Bearer header.

1. Get a token

Create a workspace API token with api.read and api.write. You will use the same token for scrapes, searches, and job polling.

2. Make a URL scrape request

Fast requests return 200 with a result. Slower requests return 202 with a jobId and pollUrl.

3. Poll an async job

Use polling when you explicitly set "wait": false or when the synchronous wait budget is exhausted.

4. Run SERP-only search

5. Run grounded answer search

This path fetches the top result documents and returns an attributed answer when an LLM is configured.
